Commissioner Gungubele’s provincial visit to the Free State aims to promote rights of vulnerable communities with a particular focus on matters relating to human settlement and migration. As part of the visit, Commissioner Gungubele, will be leading monitoring activities including in informal settlements, Maseru Border post, and police stations detaining undocumented migrants within the province. The programme will kickstart at Bainsvlei Police station on Monday, 09 December 2024, and followed by inspections at the Mountainview and Phomolong informal settlements in Bloemfontein.
