Media Advisory: Continuation of a Subpoena hearing against the Department of Health in the North West

The South African Human Rights Commission’s (SAHRC/the Commission) North West Provincial Office (NWPO) will continue with its subpoena hearing against the North West Department of Health (NWDoH).

The Subpoena Hearing relates to several complaints lodged against the Department, ranging from complaints about medication shortages and overcrowding at the healthcare facilities in the North West. The subpoena proceedings are scheduled as follows:

  • Date: Wednesday, 20 November 2024
  • Time: 09:00am
  • Venue: 25 Heystek Street, Rustenburg.
