Media Advisory: SAHRC Limpopo Provincial Office in collaboration with SAHRC National Library, to donate books to Leweng Primary School in Moletjie as part of SHiNE event.

 The South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) is a state institution established by Chapter 9 of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa,1996 to support constitutional democracy. The SAHRC is mandated in section 184 of the Constitution to promote the protection, development, and attainment of human rights, and to monitor the observance of such rights within the Republic of South Africa.

 The SAHRC Limpopo Provincial Office (LPO) in collaboration with the SAHRC National Library, will on Friday, 06 September 2024, donate library books to Leweng Primary School in Moletjie as part of the Social Harmony National Effort (SHiNE) event. This aims to enhance human rights awareness, social harmony, tolerance, and the right to education.

 The SHiNE event will take place as follows:
