Media Advisory: The Gauteng Provincial Office will host a virtual media briefing on 27 March 2024

The Gauteng Provincial Office (GPO) of the South African Human Rights Commission (Commission) will host its annual media briefing on 27 March 2024 from 10h00 until 12h00.

The briefing will cover updates on matters that the Gauteng Provincial Office has investigated and has been featured in the media. The Gauteng Provincial Office will also provide a report back on activities undertaken during 2023 and inform the media of goals for 2024. In addition, updates will be provided on advocacy and monitoring activities.

The media briefing allows members of the media to receive first-hand information on the provincial office activities and gain an understanding of the work conducted by the South African Human Rights Commission at a provincial level.

The Gauteng Provincial Office looks forward to meeting with various media houses.
